Ingredients in Indigo 3G
The main ingredient in Indigo 3G is Anthocyanins. This ingredient essentially comes from the pigment in blueberries. It is said to improve insulin levels in your body so you are able to avoid cravings and stick to your diet.
Another benefit to using anthocyanins is that it is supposed to reduce cholesterol levels and improve your health. Furthermore, anthocyanins are supposed to be beneficial because they can help your cells to grow larger with very little extra effort.
Indigo 3G uses a 125 mg blend of anthocyanins and gel/filler components. They do not specify how much anthocyanin you get in the formula. It is very likely that you are getting too little to make a difference in weight loss. There is nothing that says anthocyanins will work for humans to cause weight loss and muscle growth.

As of 5/20/2011, BioTest just released Indigo 3G to 81 lucky beta testers. It sounds like they have plans to make the pills available for purchase through the T-Nation store as soon as the next 6 weeks (that’s how long an I3G cycle is). Indigo 3G is $390 for a 6 week supply. That’s a ridiculous price for a diet pill that has not yet been formally tested, no proven results. We did not find any indication that the company offers a money-back guarantee.

You can call me too skeptical to change but the track record stinks. Biotest is a supplement manufacturer who uses T-Nation to do press releases and talk about their products. Previously on T-Nation there was a major pre-hype over one of Biotest’s current products Anaconda where they claimed that the product would help you put on 27 lbs of muscle in a month. The product turned out to be a dud (works, but not nearly as effective as they claimed).
But consider the following details before rushing out to try this new product. BioTest just released the product to 81 beta-testers less than 30 days ago (May 20th, 2011). Within six weeks, they plan to release the supplements for sale online through the T-Nation Store at a whopping $390.00 a bottle. The information released so far only describes testing that focused on diabetes and obesity with only one study involving actual humans. Aside from the fact that BioTest has been down this road before with their Anaconda bulking supplement, they made big claims about the product which turned out to be far less impressive.
No, even though I’d like everything I ate to magically turn into muscle (I think), I’m going to sit and watch a while to see how this one plays out. I suggest you do the same.
