Ultimate Nutrition Red Zone Review
Ultimate Nutrition Red Zone claims to be a powerful supplement that will boost fat burning because of its anti-fatigue properties. Customer reviews are generally positive, but that doesn’t mean everything, so it is important to take a closer look at the ingredients, the side effects, and the results.
Red Zone is intended to be used in conjunction with a regular exercise program, so taking Red Zone without planning on exercising will be futile. It contains no appetite suppressants and few strong, clinically proven fat burners. In fact, it appears that the strongest ingredients are energy boosters.
Common side effects include jitteriness and tingling in the fingers and toes.
Ingredients in Ultimate Nutrition Red Zone
Red Zone contains beta alanine, coenzyme Q10, cayenne pepper, Asian ginseng powder, white willow powder, red tea extract, kola nut powder, evodia extract, ginger powder, black pepper extract, and caffeine anyhdrous. Red Zone does not disclose how much of each ingredient it contains, because it uses proprietary blends. However, a little bit of math based on the ingredients contained in each proprietary blend can roughly determine whether or not Red Zone contains effective dosages of its ingredients.
Beta alanine boosts energy and helps you perform longer. However, clinical studies on beta alanine have used 3-6 grams daily. Red Zone only contains 1030 mg of beta alanine and coenzyme Q10 combined, so clearly it does not contain clinically proven amounts of this ingredient.
Red Zone claims that Coenzyme Q10 can boost energy as well, but it has been proven to have little or no effect on physical performance.
Detailed clinical studies have not been done on the effects of cayenne pepper on weight loss, but studies have shown that it may regulate glucose levels and promote fat burning when used in high dosages. It is highly likely that Red Zone does not contain a high enough dose.
Asian ginseng powder is used to promote over-all health. It has not been shown to have any direct affect on weight loss. Red tea extract is an antioxidant, but it has not been shown to have any effect on weight loss, either.
Kola nut powder acts as a diuretic and contains caffeine, which can boost metabolism and energy.
Evodia extract prevents against the storing of fat. It has been tested on animals, but there is no clinical evidence that it is effective in humans.
Ginger powder boosts metabolism when used in a high dosage, which Red Zone does not contain.
Black pepper increases the body’s ability to absorb the other nutrients in the pill.
Caffeine anhydrous is commonly used in fat burners. It boosts metabolism and energy.
Does Ultimate Nutrition Red Zone offer a money-back guarantee?
Ultimate Nutrition Red Zone does not have a money-back guarantee unless you are returning unused products within thirty days of purchase. For a product that doesn’t have a strong formula, it isn’t very promising that they don’t guarantee their own product.
Final Thoughts
Customers unanimously feel that Ultimate Nutrition Red Zone gives them the boost of energy that they need to work out harder and longer. However, they say very little about the fat burning properties of Red Zone—probably because the fat burning properties just aren’t very strong. We aren’t impressed with Red Zone’s formula, because most of the ingredients aren’t clinically proven, and they don’t appear to be included in clinically proven dosages. You’d be better off finding a more comprehensive, effective fat burner than relying on Ultimate Nutrition Red Zone solely for its energy-boosting capabilities.
